Paul joined David Miner & Associates in 2024 after a successful 25-year career with BCO Wealth Management, a firm also associated with Investia Financial Services Inc.
Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 1984, and then, in 1985, completed various operations courses with the Toronto Stock Exchange. After being licensed by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada in 1992, he joined Money Concepts, here in the Islington area, as a partner between 1993 and 1999. Following the completion of his CFP, Paul and two business partners went on to form BCO Wealth Management.
Paul is deeply involved in his community having coached local hockey and soccer teams, as well as running a school basketball program in North York and Markham.
Paul has served 3 terms on the Board of Directors of Catholic Family Services of Toronto, serving in a range of roles including Treasurer and President. He also served 2 terms on the Board of Catholic Family Services of Toronto Foundation serving as Member and Treasurer.
Currently he is serving on both the Boards of Toronto Dismas Fellowship as well as Friends of Dismas Inc. Both the fellowship and the charity support restorative justice initiatives in southern Ontario.
Paul and his wife Joan have raised 2 daughters and have continued to make Thornhill their home since 1987. In his spare time, he rides and serves as an officer with the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers, as well as enjoying travelling and live theatre with Joan.
